Bud Robinson, Grounds Chair for Pioneer Park, recounts that they have replaced the stairs over the past 3 years in stages using the same design that was used 30 years ago. Pioneer Park members collaborated to design the stairs by following the terrain of the bank for access to the beach.

You are invited to submit your photos for consideration for inclusion in the Bayfield Calendar for 2022. Feel free to post as many photos as you like.
The theme for 2021 is: "Architectural aspects of Bayfield". Feel free to interpret this liberally. You have free rein to share your most dramatic Bayfield photos...as well as any others that show of the beauty that is Bayfield and the surrounding area.
Preference will be given to photos that clearly interpret the theme, in and around Bayfield, throughout the 4 seasons in artistic and creative ways. This can include reflections, macro or close-up shots, different angles, exposure times, and lenses, unique viewpoints, etc. More standard interpretations of Bayfield and area will still be given serious consideration. The ultimate selection criterion will be the quality of the photographs as determined by the judges
Photographs must not have been used in previous years' calendars. All photos must be titled.
Since the calendar will be printed in “landscape” format ( 8x12), your photos MUST be edited to that aspect ratio format of 2 x 3 or they will be rejected. Judges will not undertake any cropping or other type of post processing.
Your photos should be available, if selected, in a sufficient size (preferably 7 megapixels or greater) to allow them to be printed at a resolution of 300 dpi.

This will allow for a full size, high resolution, image to be uploaded. Once your image file is uploaded, you will not actually see it but it can be accessed by the judging committee.
