The theme for this month is "long exposures". A long exposure need not be a lengthy period of time. Even an exposure of a few seconds would fit this criteria. If you do have neutral density filters, this would work perfectly for outdoor landscape shots. Moving water works exceptionally well for this technique. Even without filters, you can still acquire the same look by placing sunglasses over your lens. Anything that would result in less light passing through the lens will allow for a longer shutter speed. You can also create a long exposure indoors, and without any filters, by using low light levels and using a flashlight or other light source to highlight your subject.
